Our Holiday Open House tradition started when John & Sybil Dodson opened the first Mud Dabbers in 1988. At the end of the year, John wanted to thank their customers for their support, so he made dozens of little mugs to give away as a token of his gratitude. Over 25 years later, John & Sybil's son, Brad, has continued this tradition - except now we give away over 600 cups! It's still our way of saying "Thank You!" to all our customers, including you.
We hope you'll join us for this year's Open House, always held the first full weekend in December. Our studio and showroom will be open with hot cider and homemade cookies for everyone - and of course, free handmade pottery cups for all our guests. Enjoy the refreshments, browse for gifts, and take home your own handmade pottery cup as a reminder of the joy you bring us every time you walk through our doors.
